Alma Jean (Wetherington) Hay

Alma Jean Hay, 80, of Harrisburg, Illinois, passed away after a sudden illness on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.  Alma was born on February 22, 1941 in rural Herod, Illinois the daughter of the late Dewey E. And Alta M. (Oglesby) Wetherington.  She married the love of her life, Guy Estel Hay on December 15, 1973.  Sadly, Guy passed away on October 15th of 2015.  Alma was a member of the Ledford Baptist Church.  She is survived by cousins and friends.  Alma was also preceded in death by three half brothers.  Visitation for Alma will be held on Saturday, October 2nd from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality.  Pastor David Angelly will officiate the service with burial to follow at the Lavender Cemetery near Herod.
