Ancil "A.J." Ray Logsdon

Ancil Ray “A.J.” Logsdon, 79, of Eldorado, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.  He was born on November 12th, 1941 in Ridgway, the son of the late James Samuel and Dora Grace (Randall) Logsdon.   Ancil was a barber in the Gallatin County community for many years.  He is survived by his wife, Wanda Logsdon of Eldorado; three daughters, Sherrie Vailes of Eldorado, Penny Logsdon of Newton, Tina Logsdon of Elizabethtown.  Ancil is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cynthia Marcella (Bowles) Logsdon and his sister, Wilma Dunn.  Cremation service was selected and there will be a private family service held at a later date.  Internment will be at Jackson Cemetery near Ridgway.  Vickery Funeral Chapel of Shawneetown in charge of arrangements.
