Anna Barbara (Wooge) Funk

Anna Barbara Funk, 54, of Equality, Illinois passed away at her home after a valiant fight against cancer on Sunday, February 14, 2021.  Anna was a good and thoughtful person who used her talent cooking and fixing meals for our local senior citizens at the Golden Circle at Ridgway.  She was born on July 29, 1966 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of late Edward Wooge and Lenora Faye Plunkett Kalkwarf.  Anna married on March 25, 1994 to Gary L. Funk who survives.  Also she is survived by her daughter, Tara Ann Funk of Equality; two sisters, Linda and Greg Soukup, Carol Wooge; one brother, Edward Wooge; father-in-law, Charles Funk; one brother-in-law, Anthony Funk; several nieces and nephews.  Anna was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Janice Mitzner.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality in charge of arrangements.  A cremation service was selected and there will be no public services at this time.
