Anna Marie Wargel

Anna Marie Wargel, 86, of Karber St., Ridgway, passed away at her home, Sunday, June 29, 2008 at 11:15 a.m. She was born October 5, 1921 in Ridgway to Andrew F. and Elizabeth (Stallman) Hish. Anna Marie married Alfred S. Wargel on April 8, 1947 and he preceded her in death on August 15, 2002. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ridgway and belonged to the St. Joseph Altar Society and Ridgway American Legion Auxiliary. Anna Marie is survived by her daughter, Janet and Jim Henson of Ridgway; two sons, Carl and Liz Wargel of St. Louis, Mo., Bill and Dana Wargel of Ridgway; six grandchildren, Michelle and Scott Bosaw of Ridgway, Wes and Tera Henson of Ridgway, Lindsay Wargel of San Diego, Calif., Abby Wargel of St. Louis, Mo., Kristen and Brad Benson of Ruston, La., Trent Wargel of St. Louis, Mo.; seven great grandchildren, Kyle, Chloe, and Grant Bosaw, Will and Lane Henson, Cameron and Conner Benson. She was preceded in death by parents, husband and a brother, Cletus H. Hish. Visitation for Anna Marie will be Monday, June 30th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway. Prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1st at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ridgway with Father Mark Stec officiating.
