Barbara Jean (Williams) Stacey

Barbara Jean Stacey, 78, of Equality, Illinois, passed away at her home on Monday, February 14, 2022.  She was born into a large and loving family on November 14, 1943 in Shawneetown, the daughter of the late Walter E. and Wawneeda (Lampert) Williams.  Barbara married Robert Herman Stacey on October 16th of 1986.  Bob preceded Barbara in death on May 11th of 2004.  Barbara leaves behind seven siblings, Bonnie Williams of Harrisburg, Terry and Jane Williams of Marion, Bob and Ginger Williams of Norris City, Freda Armstrong of Arizona, Danny Williams of Marion, Randy Williams of Marion, and Kim Williams of Elizabethtown.  Also she is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, Wendell Williams.  There will be a Graveside service for Barbara on Sunday, February 20th at 2 p.m. at the Hogan Cemetery near Shawneetown.  Brother David Wood will officiate the service.  Those attending the service should go directly to the cemetery. Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown will be in charge of arrangements.
