Betty Oxford

Betty Harrelson Oxford, 77, of Rosiclare formerly of Equality, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011, 2:20 p.m. at Rosiclare Healthcare Center. She was born on September 18, 1933 in Equality to Thurman and Lydia (Uselton) Harrelson. Betty is survived by husband, Morgan Oxford of Rosiclare; two sons, Marshall Davis of Rosiclare and James Davis of Gilbertsville, Ky.; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Katherine Reynolds, Opal Harrelson, Peggy Harrelson, Mary Edith Wallace, and Madeline Womack; seven brothers, Clarence, Thurman, Lewis, Alvin, Jack, Joe, and Hubert Harrelson. Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Cottage Grove Cemetery near Equality. Rev. Dorothy Millspaugh will be officiating.
