Beverly June (Gidcumb) Loderback

Beverly June Loderback, 81, of Omaha, Illinois, passed away on Thursday afternoon, June 22, 2023 at the Wabash Christian Village in Carmi.  She was born on June 10, 1942 in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late Dewey Gidcumb and Ludean (Rose) Gidcumb Barger.  Beverly married Robert Loarl Loderback on August 5, 1967.  Robert preceded Beverly in death on August 12, 2001.  She was retired from Ferrell Hospital dietary department.  Beverly was a member of the Omaha General Baptist Church and previously she attended the Eldorado Social Brethren Church and was a Sunday School Teacher.  Also, she was a member of the Gallatin County Home Extension.  Beverly is survived by her daughter, Glenda and Jeff Fleck of Norris City; her son, Gerald Loderback of Omaha; her two sister-in-laws, Janet Woods and Mary Swears, both of Omaha; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her step sister, Violet Phipps.  Visitation for Beverly will be held on Sunday, June 25th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Omaha. Funeral service will be held the funeral home on Monday, June 26th at 11a.m. with the Reverend Rick Strole officiating.  Burial will follow at the Hazel Ridge Cemetery near Omaha.  Memorials in Beverly’s memory may be made to the Omaha General Baptist Church.
