Billy Ray Heffington

Billy Ray Heffington, 70, of Shawneetown , passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015, 9:25 a.m., at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  He was born on December 9, 1944 in Morganfield, Ky., the son of the late Sammie and Mary (Wolf) Heffington.  Billy Ray was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Kay (Leonberger) Heffington on May 9, 1998.  He is survived by daughter, Dawn Kelley of Galatia; two grandchildren, Cody Jeralds and Brenna Barnett-Kelley; one sister, Betty Heffington of Shawneetown; two brothers, Ronald “Moe” Heffington and Roger “Spoodie” Heffington, both of Junction.  He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Reva Lovell and Melissa Heffington; one brother, Sammie Heffington Jr.  There will be a private family service at the later date.  Vickery Funeral Chapel of Shawneetown in charge of arrangements.
