Billy Rash, 71, of Ridgway, Illinois passed away suddenly at his home on the morning of Tuesday, January 21st, 2025. Born to the late Hazel and Arzona (Winters) Rash in Eldorado on May 2nd of 1953. Billy married the former Kim Ordiway on December 9th of 2000. He retired as a industrial paint inspector and later became the owner and operator of Ridgway Quik Mart and at Crossroads Quik Mart until his last retirement from the business. Billy is survived by his loving wife, Kim Rash of Ridgway; one daughter, Sherrie Schultheis of Scotland; one son, Curtis Rash of California; two stepchildren, Teresa and Timothy Condon of Ridgway, and Nancy White also of Ridgway; two sisters, Myrna Smith, Darlene and Jim Werner all of Las Vegas, Nevada; one surviving brother, Benny Rash of Shawneetown; two sister-in-laws, Diana Rash of Sturgis, Kentucky, Phyllis Rash of Indianapolis, Indiana; fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Crystal Williams; three brothers, James, Jerry, and Bobby Rash. Visitation for Billy will be held on Saturday, January 25th from 9 a.m. until service time at 12 p.m. noon at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Reverend James R. Hubbard will officiate the service. Burial will follow the funeral service at Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.
