Blain Wiles

Blain Wiles, 82, of 7999 Ringgold Road, Shawneetown, IL, passed away at Fountainview Nursing home in Eldorado, IL at 3:40 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2006. Blain was born in Hanson, Kentucky on February 9, 1924 to Lafayatte and Anna (Willis) Wiles. He married Margie Dame on March 18, 1944. Blain was a coal miner and a member of Madisonville Masonic Lodge #143. Blain is survived by wife, Margie Wiles of Shawneetown; four daughters; Sandy & Verlin Perry of Marissa, IL, Paula & Lonnie West of Las Vegas, NV, Patty and Bill Winters of Shawneetown, IL, Jenny and Hershel Rigsby Jr. of Shawneetown, IL; two sons; Jerry and Harriett Wiles of McDonald, TN, and Terry and Brenda Wiles of Eureka, IL; three brothers; James Wiles of Madisonville, KY, Willie Wiles of Franklin, TN, William Wiles of Farmington, MO. Eleven Granchildren; Nicole Jasper, Josh Perry, John Blain Wiles, Maggie Caldwell, Tara Gorden Vickery, Kimi Schroeder, Adam Vickery, Jay Winters, Laura Winters, Aaron Wiles, Kyle Wiles, and 10 Great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents; two sisters, Daisy Parish and Tillie Perkins; three brothers, Roy, Arville, and John Wiles. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 19, 2006, 5 to 8 p.m. at Vickery Funeral Chapel-Shawneetown. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral Home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Madisonville, KY. Officiating will be Reverend Tim Wiles.
