Bobby Gene "Bob" Brazier

Bobby Gene “Bob” Brazier, 82, of Shawneetown, Ill., passed away at his home on Monday, February 4, 2019.  He was born on September 29, 1936, son of the late Nathaniel and Ethel (Young) Brazier.  He was a coal miner for twenty-four years.  Bob is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and his friends.  Also he was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Ronald Gene and Gary Ray Brazier; four sisters, Mae Dutton, Millie Dortch, Joann Curry, Claire Milligan; six brothers, Raymond, Adam, Loren, Tom, John Allen and Harry Brazier.  Visitation for Bob will be held on Wednesday, February 6th from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown.  Pastor Jack Hall will officiate the service with burial at Westwood Cemetery.
