Carolyn Ruth (Cowsert) Bramlet

Carolyn Ruth Cowsert-Bramlet, 75, of Equality, Illinois, passed away at the Harrisburg Medical Center on Saturday, September 4, 2021.  She was born on January 17, 1946 to the late James Ralph and Judith E. (Strong) Cowsert.  Carolyn was retired bookkeeper at the Buddy Pool Buick-Pontiac Dealership in Harrisburg.  She married Harry Allen “J.R.” Bramlet and he preceded her in death on January 2nd of 2001.  Also, Carolyn was a member of the United Methodist Church in Equality and a graduate of Equality High School, the class of 1964.  Carolyn enjoyed her two dogs and vacationing at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, Ralph David Cowsert.  Visitation for Carolyn will be held on Thursday, September 9th from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality.  The Reverend Robert Patton will officiate the service with burial at Wolf Creek Cemetery near Eldorado.
