Carolyn L. (Price) O'Dell

Carolyn L. O’Dell, 70, of Shawneetown, Ill., passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Ind.  She was born on December 12, 1948 in Shawneetown, the daughter of the late Ernest Wayne and Vera Imogene (Holloway) Price.  Carolyn married Lonnie Francis O’Dell in May of 1967.  She worked as a social service worker for the State of Illinois for many years.  Carolyn is survived by her husband, Lonnie O’Dell of Shawneetown; one son, Kevin O’Dell of Evansville, Ind.; one daughter, Stephanie O’Dell of Shawneetown; one sister, Sandy and Terry Segrave of Eldorado; and one grandson, Jacob O’Dell of Springfield, Mo.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ronnie Price and Howard Holloway.  Visitation for Carolyn will be held on Tuesday, November 12th from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown.  Burial will be at Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.
