Catherine Crunk

Catherine Crunk, 81, 273 W. McClernand Ave. Shawneetown, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, 4:40 p.m. at Ridgway Manor Nursing Home in Ridgway. She was born in Shawneetown on April 25, 1928 to Herman Richard and Sarah Agnes (Rider) Gentry. Catherine married William Daniel Crunk on November 25, 1950 and he preceded her in death on August 15, 2002. She is survived by sister-in-law, Lorrine Woods of Godfrey, Ill. Visitation for Catherine will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. with prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shawneetown with Father Mark Stec officiating. Burial will be at Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown. Donations in Catherine's memory may be made to Ridgway Manor or Hospice of Southern Illinois- Blue East.
