Catherine Lucille (Lynch) Rigsby

Catherine Lucille Rigsby, 79, of Shawneetown, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.  She was born on August 19, 1941 in Eldorado, the daughter of the late Ernest Taylor and Margaret (Doerr) Lynch.  Catherine married James Rigsby Sr. on January 4th , 1961, who survives.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Shawneetown.  Including her husband she is survived by son Jim Rigsby of Shawneetown; two brothers, Gene and Don Lynch both of Shawneetown; one sister, Sharon Stacey of Shawneetown; a niece, Sarah Stacey ; great niece and nephew, Taylor and Dawson; one nephew, Cody Stacey.  There will be a graveside for Catherine on Friday, January 8th at 10 a.m. at the Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.  Pastor Jack Hall will officiate the service.  Due to Covid-19, social distancing and masks are required.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown in charge of arrangements.
