Charles Lloyd “Fuzz” Patton, 76, of Junction, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014, 10:15 a.m., at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind. Fuzz was born on January 28, 1938 in rural Junction, the eldest of four children of Andrew Watson and Margaret Elsie (Easton) Patton. He owned and operated Patton’s Truck Stop and Café since 1976 and the business was also ran by his parents many years before that time. The truck stop and Fuzz were the hub of the Crossroads community and the surrounding area and he will be missed by all. He married Pamela Kay Olson on December 13, 1990, who survives. Also he is survived by his daughter, Jessica Patton of Muddy; two sons, Dale Wayne and Renee Patton of Elizabethtown, Glen Ray and Chris Patton of Eldorado; one brother, Stanley and Brenda Patton of Mt. Vernon; one brother-in-law, Jerry Burton of Ridgway; four grandchildren, Brandy, Michael, Crystal and Blake; several nieces and nephews; a lot of friends and neighbors; and his beloved dog, Freckles. Fuzz was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Sandy Johnson and Verda Burton. There will be a graveside service for Fuzz on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery near Equality with Rev. Robert D. Patton officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the donors choice.
