Charles Douglas Rushing

Charles Douglas Rushing, 73, of Junction, Ill.,  passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017, 1:10 a.m. at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  He was born on November 7, 1944 near Fredonia, Ky., the son of the late Guy Rushing and Lola May (Rushing) Bush.  Charles was an Army Veteran.  He is survived by his two daughters, Daniela Nicol Villanueva and Jill Rushing both of Troy, Mo.; three brothers, Wayne and Neva Jean Rushing of Shawneetown, Kenneth and Kay Rushing of Dongola, Henry and Sara Rushing of Karnack, Tex.; two sisters, Ruby Tucker of Junction, and SanDee and Tom Brown of Hudson, Fla.; three grandchildren, Cash, Mason, and  Jordyn; and special friends, Rickey Watters, Kenneth and Laura Pumphrey.  Charles was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bill Rushing.  Visitation for Charles will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown.  The Rev. Michael Rushing will be officiating.   Burial with military rites at the Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.
