Charles G. Wargel

Charles G. Wargel, 99, of 11440 John McGuire Road, Junction, Il, passed away at his residence on Monday, July 31, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Charles was born in Equality, IL to Simon and Frances (Meunsterman) Wargel. He married Marie McGuire on April 23, 1935 and preceded him in death on February 16, 2004. Charles was a lifetime farmer and an avid quail hunter. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Equality and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by 4 grandchildren, Angela and David Mossman of Peoria, IL; David and Linda Woods of Junction, IL; Kenneth and Debra Woods of Whitestown, IN; Julia and John Naas of Junction, IL. Five great grandchildren; Jae Mossman, Whitney Naas, Ethan Naas, Kirbie Woods, and Logan Woods and step granddaughter, Brandy Stephens. He was preceded in death by parents, wife, daughter and son-in-law Carolyn Sue and James Woods; Great grandson, Joshua Woods; four sisters, Theresa Boulds, Johannah Cox. Cecilia Mier, Carrie Wargel and four brothers; Simon, Leo, Ray, and Michael Wargel. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 2, 2006 , from 4 to 8 p.m. with prayer service at 5 p.m. at Vickery Funeral Chapel - Equality. Funeral Mass service will be held, Thursday, August 3, 2006 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church at Equality. Officiating will be Father Ignatius Okonkwo and Father Joseph Lawler.
