Clarissa Gail Tipton

Clarissa Gail Tipton, 37, of Evansville, Ind. formerly of Ridgway, Ill. passed away at the home of her mother in Ridgway on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 7:55 a.m. She was born on August 29, 1974 in Eldorado, Ill. Clarissa married Tom L. Tipton Jr. on May 2, 2009. She worked as a CNA. Clarissa is survived by her husband Tom Tipton of Evansville, Ind.; two sons, Brayden and Braxton Overfield both of Ridgway; her mother, Brenda and Glenn Lynch of Ridgway; five sisters, Melissa and Les Sutton of Murray, Ky., Salina DeBose and Daniel Overfield of Ridgway, Bessie and Richie Pennington also of Ridgway, Cheryl and Ashley DeBose, both of Morganfield, Ky.; one brother, Brian Reynolds of Ridgway; one niece, Breanna; six nephews, Kyle, Kalob, Gavyn, Ryan, Lathyn and Kole. Visitation for Clarissa will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ownly Williams officiating with cremation to follow services.
