Cynthia Marcella (Bowles) Logsdon

Cynthia “Marcie” Marcella Logsdon, 68, of Eldorado, Ill. passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Wabash Christian Village in Carmi.  She was born on September 22, 1949 in New Haven, the daughter of the late Ernest Eugene and Evelyn (Hill) Bowles Sr.   Marcie married Ancel “A.J.” Logsdon who survives.  She is also survived by one daughter, Stacie and Charlie Gordon of Shawneetown; two sons, Frank and Mandy Pennington of Ridgway, Richard and Bess Pennington of Ridgway; three step daughters, Sherrie Vailes of Eldorado, Penny Logsdon of Newton, and Tina Logsdon of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Jeanetta Brazier of Shawneetown, Lorettia and Doug Hogan of Orlando, Fla.; eleven grandchildren, Gavyn, Chance, Morgan, Jayde, Holli, Rebecca, Stephanie, Lucas, Lindsie, Hailie, and Grayson.  Marcie was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ernest E. Bowles Jr.  Visitation for Marcie will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway.  The Rev. Carolyn Ellison will be officiating the service with burial at Jackson Cemetery near Ridgway.
