Donna Jean (Cox) Millikan

Donna Jean Millikan, 85, of Shawneetown, Illinois, passed away at the Gallatin Manor in Ridgway on Sunday, February 27, 2022.  She was born in Ridgway on June 23, 1936 to Andrew and Mable (Vaughn) Cox.  Donna married William J. Millikan in Raleigh on the 6th of January of 1955.  She was the bookkeeper for the Millikan Auto Company.  Donna was a vital and faithful member of the Emmanual United Methodist Church in Shawneetown.  Survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Millikan of Shawneetown; their son, Billy Millikan of Shawneetown; and her last surviving sister, Wilma Barton of Eldorado.  Donna was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Kay Cox and Florine Gidcumb; two brothers, Ivan and Jack Cox.  There will be a graveside service for Donna on Wednesday, March 2nd at the Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown with Pastor Jack Hall officiating.  Those attending should go directly to the cemetery.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown in charge of arrangements.
