Donna Kay Snyder

Donna Kay Snyder, 67, of 109 N. Baltimore St. Ridgway, Ill., passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010, 10:10 a.m. at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind. She was born on October 2, 1942 in Elkhart, Ind. to Clyde Robert and Virginia Nadine (Mann) Hankins. Donna married Benjamin David Snyder Sr. on February 10, 1968. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1997. Donna worked as a secretary and also as a clerk at the Easy Stop in Ridgway. She was a member of the Ridgway American Legion Auxiliary. Donna is survived by her daughter, Alice Snyder of Ridgway; her sister, Linda Fromm of Sparta; grandson, Allan Lee Edwards also of Ridgway; three nieces, Tammy Donjon of Prairie Du Rocher, Tina Onan of Kentucky, Janet Hankins of Metropolis; two nephews, Tom Swearengin of Millstadt, Danny Hankins of Metropolis. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Richard Allen Hankins. Visitation for Donna will be on Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 4 p.m. until service time at 6 p.m. Memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. with Rev. Jason Farmer officiating.
