Earl Casey, 88, of Madisonville, Kentucky formerly of Shawneetown, Illinois, passed away at his home in Madisonville. He was born on December 14, 1932 in Equality, Illinois, the son of the late James William and Emma Mae (Goodson) Casey. Earl married Barbara Jean Whitler on August 31, 1957. Barbara preceded Earl in death on November 23rd of 2018. He proudly served this nation in the army during the Korean Conflict. Also Earl was a member of the Ridgway Baptist Church and Ridgway Masonic Lodge #816. He retired as a welder at Komatsu after thirty years of service. Earl is survived by his loving daughter, Kimberly Casey of Madisonville; three grandchildren, Brandy, Brenna, and Grant; three sisters, Eva Chandler of Gurnee, Illinois, Ann Jameson of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Glenda Hauth of Marshfield, Missouri; two brothers, James and Karen Casey, Robert “Bud” Casey all of Gurnee, Illinois. Along with is parents and wife, Earl was preceded in death by five sisters, Ruth Bradley, Rita Bradley, Inez Gibson, Helen Hayes, and Jane Randl; two brothers, Carroll and Hearl Casey. There will be a private family service for Earl with burial in Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown with Pastor Ben Holloway officiating. Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown in charge of arrangements.
