Elizabeth Gabriella "Betty" Calvert, 87, of Hubbard, OH formerly of Shawneetown, IL died at her home at 9:45 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2007 with friends and relatives around her. She was born October 30, 1919 in Hubbard, a daughter of Nicholas and Cherubina Patrick Venditti and lived in Shawneetown for many years before returning to Hubbard in 2002. Aunt Betty, as she was affectionately called, was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Assembly in Youngstown. She enjoyed crafts, flowers, cooking and loved everybody unconditionally. Her husband, Air Force Chief Master Sgt. (Ret.) John W. Calvert, whom she married on March 10, 1956 in Hubbard, he preceded her in death February 22, 2002. She leaves a son Vincent (Patty) Daggata and an "adopted son" Richard Greenlee, both of Tampa, FL; two brothers Guido Venditti of Boardman, OH and Jerome Vanditti of Hubbard; three sisters, Clara Mansel of Wheatland, PA, Fay Koop of Coraopolis, PA and Nancy(Joe) Sabella of Hubbard; four granchildren; one great grandson and many wonderful nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by parents, four sisters, Ann Gori, Lillian Pritchard, Jean Stafford and Lucille Stafford and two brothers, Arther Venditti and Walter Vanditti. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard. Visitation, Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown followed by graveside services at Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown with Pastor Jack Hall officiating.
