Evelyn Roe

Evelyn Roe, 93, of Rosiclare, Illinois formerly of Junction, Illinois, passed away, Sunday, September 10, 2006, 9:07 a.m., at Hardin County General Hospital, Rosiclare, Illinois. She was born to Herman and Bessie Henson in Paris, Illinois on April 7, 1913. Evelyn married Michael M. Roe on June 22, 1933 and he preceded her death on March 12, 1995. Evelyn was a homemaker and was a member of the Pisgah General Baptist Church near Junction, Illinois. She is survived by daughter, Thelma and Jack Conn of Elizabethtown, Illinois; granddaughter, Jacqueline and Johnny Boyd of Elizabethtown, Illinois; brother, Gene Henson of Paris, Illinois great grandson, Johnny Lee Boyd; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, a brother and a sister. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 12, 2006 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at the Vickery Funeral Chapel - Ridgway.
