Francine L. (Fontanetta) Sork

Francine L. Sork, 63, of Shawneetown, Illinois, passed away at her home with her family at her side on Monday, March 11, 2024.  She was born in Chicago on September 28, 1960, the daughter of Phillip and Ellen (Pratt) Fontanetta.  She was a Certified Nursing Assistant.  Francine is survived by her mother, Ellen Fontanetta; her five children, Daniel French, Kimberly Nation, Roy Isaac Sork, Rebecca Davis, and Aleece McLeod; two brothers, Anthony and Brian Fontanetta; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father.  As per Francine’s wishes she will be cremated.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown will be in charge of arrangements.
