Glenn Bosaw

Glenn Bosaw, 83, 349 Davis Ave., Omaha; passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009, 2:32 p.m.; at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. He was born on November 14, 1926 in New Haven to Andrew and May (Dagley) Bosaw. Glenn married Mary Ann Wallace on September 4, 1951. He was a retired U.S. Army sergeant and served his country during World War Two. He was a member of DAV of Mt. Vernon, Ill., New Haven Legion Post 1141, and Lifetime member of Carmi VFW Post 3851. He was also a member of the May Masonic Lodge of Norris City, Fifty year Mason and a Kentucky Colonel. Glenn is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Bosaw of Omaha and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Rosa, Beulah, Edith, Pearl; five brothers, Lawrence, Vaughn, Cecil, Hodge, and John William Bosaw. Visitation for Glenn will be held on Monday, December 14, 2009 from 5 to 8 p.m. with Masonic rites at 7 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Omaha. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Blaine Felty officiating. Burial will be at Palestine Two Cemetery with Military rites by New Haven Legion Post 1141. Memorial in memory of Glenn may be made to Omaha General Baptist Church and Ditney Ridge Baptist Church. Internet condolences may be made at www.vickeryfuneralchapel.com.
