Harry Weldon Barnes

Harry Weldon Barnes, 76, of Shawneetown, Ill. passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012, 2:30 p.m. at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. He was born on December 27, 1935 in Cave-In-Rock, the son of Floyd Allen and Charlotte (Barnard) Barnes. He is survived by his two sons, Harry Lee Barnes of Junction, Henry Allen Barnes of West Virginia; two daughters, Kristy Ann Barnes of Shawneetown, Linda Faye Franks of Kentucky; two sisters, Linda and Jim Price of Elizabethtown, Ina and Lloyd Frields of Golconda; three brothers, Ralph and Sally Barnes of Elizabethtown, Donnie and Pat Barnes of Cave-In-Rock, Bub and Rev. Peggy Winters of Elizabethtown; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Harry is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alma Ruth Glover; three brothers, John Henry, Floyd Jack and Harold Barnes. Visitation for Harry will held at 9:30 a.m. until Memorial service time at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Rev. Jim Price will be officiating.
