Irene Winters

Irene Winters, 86, of 4995 Hwy 1, Junction, IL; passed away at Rosiclare Health Care Center in Rosiclare, IL on Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at 2:28 p.m. She was born October 3, 1920 in Saline Mines, IL to Edward and Viola (Hughes) Potts. Irene was married to F. George Winters on December 23, 1939 and he preceded her in death on September 12, 1969. She was a homemaker and a member of the Leamington Community Church. Irene is survived by two daughters; Cathie and Bill Roderick of Junction, Linda and David Flanders of Equality; two grandchildren; Karen Roderick of Ridgway, Gary and Cindy Roderick of Junction; and four great grandchildren; Aaron Jones, Alex Hyatt, Jake Golden, Morgan Roderick. She was preceded in death of parents, husband, one sister, and five brothers. Visitation will be Friday, July 20, 2007 from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. Burial will be at Leamington Cemetery .
