Jackie Elaine (Gossett) Wilson

Jackie Elaine Wilson, 83, of Madisonville, Kentucky, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, October 29th , 2024 at the Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville, Kentucky.  Born in Equality, Illinois on January 29th, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Paul Everett Gossett and Rosemary (Glover) Crowell.  She married John J. Wilson on January 30th, 1964 who survives.  Jackie was a retired elementary school home economics teacher.  She was an avid quilter and loved working in her quilt room and enjoyed researching the genealogy of her family.  Jackie stayed in touch with her high school and Equality friends and they will miss her.  She is survived by her husband, John J. Wilson of Madisonville, Kentucky; two sons, John Paul “J.P.” Wilson of Fargo, North Dakota, William Andrew “Bill” Wilson of Nobelsville, Indiana; her brother, Terry and Alberta Gossett of Carterville; her sister, Carol Brinkman of Indiana; one grandchild, Jaqueline Wilson of Fargo; two great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Olivia Wilson.  There will be a memorial service for Jackie at Vickery Funeral Service at  Equality on Thursday, November 7th at 11 a.m. with Brother Mark York officiating.
