James William Graves

James William Graves, 59, of Mt. Vernon, Ind., passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2011, 11:55 p.m., at the Mt. Vernon Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon, Ind. He was born on November 12, 1951 in Gary, Ind., the son of William F. Graves and Peggy Lou (Bertenitti) Graves Reid. Jim is survived by his father, William "Bill" and Sandra Graves of Omaha; three sisters, Christine and Dennis Meyer of South Chicago Heights, Gina and Shawn Breen of Omaha, Darla and Mike Sanchez of Wilmington; one sister-in-law, Denise Graves of Sauk Village; several dear nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Reid; and brother, Steve Graves. There will be a memorial service for Jim on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Omaha. Rev. Joe Patton will be officiating the service.
