Jenny (Drone) Fromm

Virginia Ann “Jenny” Fromm, 78, of Omaha, Ill., passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 4th , 2024.  She was born in Shawneetown on July 28th, 1946, the daughter of the late Leo Edward and Mary Jane (Walters) Drone Sr.  On February 6th, 1965 she married James William Fromm at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Shawneetown.  Jenny dearly loved her family and helped Jim on the farm.  She considered her family as being her Legacy.  Jenny was a member of the St. Kateri Catholic Church.  She leaves behind her precious family, her husband, Jim Fromm of Omaha; four children, Tracy Healy (Shawn) of Valparaiso, Indiana, Linda Crowder (Robin) of Evansville, Indiana,  Tom Fromm (Julie) of Ridgway, Carla Philipps (Tony) of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; three sisters, Kay Barrow of Eldorado, Rosie Hayes of Arcadia, Florida, Carol Adams (Kevin) of Round Pond, Maine; ten grandchildren, Dillon Healy, Austin Healy (Julia), Mikaela Healy, Josh Raymond, Cassie Weyrauch (Eric), Danielle Lowery (Kyle), Hailee McGuire (Zach), Wyatt Fromm, Mariah Edwards (Colton), and Colton Philipps; five  great grandchildren, Evelyn, Jeddika, Camryn, Colson, and Calvin.  Jenny was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Leo E. “Bud” Drone Jr.; one sister, Janet Zilch.  There will be a private family graveside service at St. Joseph Cemetery near Equality.  Memorial Masses in Jenny's name may be made to St. Kateri Catholic Church.
