Jess Ann Logsdon

Jess Ann Logsdon, 84, of Shawneetown, Ill. passed away on Sunday, 16th of January 2011 in Morganfield, Ky. She was born on 15th of January 1927 in Evansville, Ind. to the late Henry Gilbert and Jess Ethyl (Milnor) Karges. She was married to Joseph E. Logsdon III on 15th August 1946 who preceded her in death in 1995. She was a life long homemaker and mother of five children. She was also a member of D.A.R. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Madeline Louise in 1972; a brother, John M. Karges in 2004 and a sister, Catherine W. Wilson in 2009. Surviving are Joseph Logsdon IV of Sevierville, Tenn., Jan Mernone of Greenwood, Ind., David L. Logsdon of Morganfield, Ky., and Kathy Logsdon of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and ten grandchildren. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date with Rev. Roger Lyons officiating. Memorial gifts may be made to the Harrisburg Public Library in Harrisburg, Ill.
