John H. Oldham

John H. Oldham, 49, of 2990 Rt 142 S. Eldorado, IL, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, 7:20 p.m. at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, IL. He was born to Eugene Oldham and Alma Gordon Hunt on January 18, 1957 in Shawneetown, IL. John was a farm hand and maintenance worker at Old Shawneetown Street Department. He married April Cook on March 10, 1998. He is survived by his wife April and mother, Alma and Charles Hunt of Shawneetown. Daughters, Rachel Oldham of Shawneetown, Patricia and Benney Tanner of Shawneetown, Tracy and Charlie Emery of Eldorado, Amber Gilley of Murphysboro, TN; and sons, John and Tereasa Oldham Jr. of Shawneetown, John R. and Denise Oldham of Shawneetown, and Dakota Cook of Eldorado, IL. and 14 grandchildern. Sisters, Linda Hansbrough of Shawneetown and Katherine Oldham of Shawneetown, and also several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by father, granddaughter Megan Oldham, and three brothers, Charles Leonard, Charles Richard, and Fauncie Oldham. Visitation will be Friday, July 7, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Vickery Funeral Chapel - Shawneetown. Officiating will be Pastor Duke Williams. Burial will be at Westwood Cemetery.
