Keiko Mary (Suzuki) Will

Keiko Mary “Kei” Will, 89, of Harrisburg, Illinois, formerly of Equality, passed away at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado on Sunday, September 27, 2020.  She was born in Yokosuka, Japan on December 17, 1930, the daughter of the late Kokichi and Kiri (Matsushima) Suzuki.  Kei married Robert Paul “Bob” Will on August 6, 1955 in Yokosuka, Japan.  Bob preceded Kei in death on December 22, 2016.  She was a member of the St. Kateri Catholic Church in Ridgway.  Kei is survived by her loving family, one daughter, Jennifer and Vince Baker of St. Peters, Missouri; three sons, John and Judy Will of Ridgway, Dennis and Anna Will of San Diego, California, Kevin Will of Equality; one brother, Shigeo Suzuki of Yokohama, Japan; eleven grandchildren, Katie Abell, Jeffery Will, Jacob Will, Christopher Will, Robert Will, Nathan Will, Megan Reubens, Kimberly Baker, Theresa Cole, Matthew Baker, and Stephen Baker; six great grandchildren, Elizabeth Abell, Will Abell, Eden Will, Amelia Will, Lyla Reubens, and Maria Cole.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Koichi Suzuki and one sister, Meiko Suzuki.  There will be no public visitation.  Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 1st at 10 a.m. at the St. Kateri Catholic Church in Ridgway.  Father Steven Beatty will officiate the service.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Kateri Catholic Church.   Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery near Equality.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway in charge of arrangements. Due to Covid-19 social distancing and face masks will be required.
