Kenneth R. Holland

Kenneth R. Holland, 79, of Ridgway, IL, died Sunday, April 22, 2007 at 4:36 p.m. at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, IL. He was the son of the late Cletus and Cora (Burnett) Holland and was born in Cottonwood, IL on March 12, 1928. Before retirement in 1990 he worked for Wabash Valley Service Co. and after retirement he operated a small engine repair shop at his home. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Ina (Stanley) Holland, they were married on June 28, 1947; daughter, Rita (Steve) Coston of Brownsville, IL; son, Rick (Susie) Holland of Harrisburg, IL; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren, and brother, Rev. Carlos Holland of Bluefield, WV. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway, IL. Funeral service will be April 25th at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Rob Gallion officiating. Burial will in Oak Grove Cemetery in Cottonwood. Internet condolences may be made at www.vickeryfuneralchapel.com.
