Kristopher G. Kilmer, 36, of Ridgway, IL, passed away on February 10, 2008. He is the son of Karen Bard (James) Keasler of Ridgway and Keith (Jo) Kilmer of Buncombe. He was born on March 14, 1971 and graduated from Shawneetown Grade and High Schools . Kris was a devoted son , brother and friend and worked as an electrician for the LaFarge Corporation in Cave-in-Rock. What Kris loved most was spending time with his family and friends. He was a warm and loving young man who used his handyman talents to help anyone in need. He is survived by his parents, three brothers, Ryan Kilmer of Galliano, La. , Brad Kilmer of Evansville, Ind., and Bruce Kilmer of Las Vegas, Nv.; three sisters , Abigail and Kallie Keasler of Ridgway and Sarah Kilmer of Phoenix, Az.; four aunts , Denise White of Chesapeake, Va., Diane Graves of Champaign, Cecilia Wilson of Bussey, Ia., and Tawana Mrocka of Evansville, Ind.; four uncles , Bruce Bard of Kinder, La., Rick Bard of Marion, Rex Barnhart of Henderson, Ky., and Ron Barnhart of Ft. Lauderhills, Fl.; and cousins, LaDawn Avis, Brian White, Julie Graves, David Graves, Katy Wilson, Drew Wilson, James McLachlan, Michael McLachlan, and Michael Mrocka. He was preceeded in death by his grandparents Ike and Mary Bard of Shawneetown, George Kilmer or Shawneetown, and Clyde and Nigel Barnhart of Henderson, Ky. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 13th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway with Prayer Service at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14th at St. Joseph Church in Ridgway with burial at St Joseph Cemetery near Ridgway.
