Lawana Jean Hancock

Lawana Jean Beaver Hancock, 59, of Equality Ill., passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. She was born on January 14, 1951 in Eldorado, Ill. to Gene and Violet (Sisk) Beaver. Lawana is survived by her son, Phillip Mills of Marion; her parents, Gene and Violet Beaver of Equality; her brother, Preston Beaver of Equality; companion, Calvin Hancock of Equality; and nephews, Jarred and Matthew Beaver. Visitation for Lawana will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. Graveside service will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery near Equality with Rev. Charles "Andy" Arthur officiating.
