Leonard Davis

Leonard Davis, 65, of Eldorado, Illinois, passed away at the Gallatin Manor in Ridgway on Saturday, September 16, 2023.  He was born on January 18, 1958 in Eldorado, the son of the late Leonard and Shirley (Riley) Davis.  Leonard worked many years in construction and as a truck driver for Tri-County Chemical and Fertilizer Company in Eldorado.  Leonard’s joy in life was his love of music and being with his family and friends.  He is survived by his daughter, Cassy and Sammie Johnson of Cunningham, Kentucky; his son, Daniel Davis and Sabrina Allie of Eldorado; four grandchildren, Lakoda, Jayden, Lali, and KayLea.  Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Vivian Davis, Tammy Sparks; one brother, Michael Davis.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality will be in charge of services.
