Lillian Louise Johnson

Lillian Louise Johnson, 90, of 327 S. Kimbro St., Ridgway, IL., passed away at her residence on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 4:28 p.m. She was born on August 23, 1917 in Ridgway to Rufus and Bertha Jane (Rodgers) Harrelson. Lillian married William H. Morrow who preceded her in death on February 24, 1973. She was a WWII veteran serving as a private in the WAC Army. Lillain was a retired optician and accountant. She was a member of the Ridgway United Methodist Church, Gallatin County Ladies Club and a fifty year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ridgway Chapter #714. Lillian is survived by sister, Mary Pearl and Kenneth Evitt of Vero Beach, Fla.; brother, Carroll "Smokey" and Joan Harrelson of Shawneetown; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents; husband; three sisters, Dora Harrelson, Clara Elizabeth Nelson, and Ruth Woods; one brother, Rufus "Pos" Harrelson. Visitation for Lillian will be on Saturday, April 19th from 9 to 11 a.m. at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway. Eastern Star service at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Ridgway Chapter #714. Graveside services will be held following the visitation at Jackson Cemetery near Ridgway with Rev. Todd White officiating.
