Linda Marie (Patton) Cushard

Linda Marie (Patton) Cushard, 69, of Cave-in-Rock, Ill., passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017, at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  She was born on July 31, 1947 in Shawneetown, the daughter of Clyde Dennis and Anna Lucille (Smith) Patton.  Linda married Norman Cushard on August 18, 1964, who survives.  She is also survived by her two sons, Norman Jr. and Jessica Cushard of Lincoln Park, Mich., and Robert Cushard of Cave-in-Rock; two sisters, Mary DeArmon and Brenda Patton both of Draffenville, Ky.; two brothers, James and Sheryl Patton of Equality, David Lee and Margaret Ann Patton of Shawneetown; three grandchildren, Neil, Aaron, and Rachel; one great grandchild, Jayden.  Linda was preceded in death by both parents and her brother, John F. Patton.  Visitation for Linda will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, from 10 a.m. until service time at Noon, 12 p.m., at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown with Rev. Robert Patton officiating.  Burial will be at the Hogan Cemetery near Shawneetown.
