Linda Jane (Krikie) Golden

Linda Jane Golden, 70, of Shawneetown, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, 8:45 a.m. at her home with her family by her side.  She was born in Eldorado on September 5, 1948, the daughter of the late Earl and Betty (Howard) Krikie.  Linda married Jerry Lee Golden on the 29th of April in 1967.  Jerry preceded her in death on December 21st of 2007.  She is survived by her three children; Cindy Roderick and Jeff Golden both of Shawneetown, Mark and wife Tiffany of Equality.  Loving grandmother to ten grandchildren, Justin, Dylan, Hannah, Max, Madison, Avery, Emma, Gracie, Jake, and Morgan; and one great grandson, Lincoln.  Visitation for Linda will be held on Friday, September 28th from 10 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway.  The Rev. Jim Howard will officiate with burial at Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.  Donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois.
