Lois June Taylor

Lois June Taylor, 63, of 8102 Hwy 1, Junction, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 , 1:32 p.m., at Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg. Lois was born March 4, 1946 in Drakesboro, Ky., the daughter of Virgil Lee and Novella (Hafley) Van. She married Thomas Junior Taylor on December 23, 1984. She was a homemaker and CNA. Lois is survived by husband, Thomas Junior Taylor of Junction; her mother, Novella Van of Ridgway, one daughter, Lois ad Doug Poore of Junction; two sons, Dennis and Ella Patton, John and Nellie Patton, all of Shawneetown; four sisters, Wanda Osborne and Ed Lawler of Shawneetown, Marlene and Roy Lynch of Ridgway, Virgie and Brain Patton of Shawneetown, Joyce and Stanley Weddell of Shawneetown; two brothers, Arval and Anita Van, Tildon and Mary Van, all of Shawneetown; five grandchildren, Leigh Poore, Adam Patton, Tyler Patton, Rebekah Patton, Zachary Patton; one great grandchild, Julie Haney. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil; two sisters, Wilma Gobtop and Opal Matthews. Graveside services for Lois will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Hogan Cemetery with Rev. Michael Rushing officiating.
