Lucille C. Hish

Lucille C. Hish, 91, of Ridgway, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011, 3:40 a.m., at the Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado. She was born on October 21, 1919 in Eldorado, the daughter of Gilbert and Alice Clark. Lucille married John Edward Hish on February 3, 1940 in St. Louis, Mo. and he preceded her in death on October 19, 1973. She worked as a florist and operated Hish's Flowers in Ridgway from 1968 to 1995. Lucille was a member of the Ridgway First Presbyterian Church and a charter member of Ridgway Woman's Club. Lucille is survived by her son, John Ed Hish of Ridgway. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Earl, John T., and Gilbert Clark. Visitation for Lucille will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway. Funeral service will be the following day, Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jack Hall officiating. Burial will be at the Jackson Cemetery near Ridgway.
