Luvena M. Caspari, 82, of Ft. Myers, Florida, formerly fo Omaha, Illinois, passed away at the Shady-Rest Care Pavilion, Ft. Myers, Florida, on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. Luvena was born January 31, 1924 in Eldorado, Illinois to William and Lela (Burdick) Forrester. Luvena worked for Carter Carburetor for 31 years in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of the Grace Church in St. Louis, Missouri. She is survived by two daughters; Judy and Jim Melson of Ft. Myers, Florida , and Roselee Yowell of St. Louis, Missouri. Five grandchildren; Earl and Barbara Yowell, Billy Yowell, Mike and Sherry Melson, Pat and Tami Melson, Ann"Sis" and Matt Stackle; all of St. Louis, Missouri. Aunt Ethel Rodgers of Ridgway, Illinois and nine great grandchildren; Jeremy and Jason Yowell, Chris, Tony, Chelsea and Sean Melson, Ellen, Suzie, and Danny Stackle. Several cousins survive. Luvena was preceded in death by parents and brother, Bill Ross. Visitation will be Monday, September 4, 2006, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel at Omaha, Illinois. Reverend Rob Gallion will be officiating and burial will be at Palestine Two Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Assn. Or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
