Mandy Ruth Kingston

Mandy Ruth Kingston, 84, of Shawneetown, passed away, Friday, August 8, 2008, at 1:17 a.m., at Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg. She was born in Shawneetown on February 26, 1924 to John E. and Hattie May (Smith) Padgett. Ruth is survived by her sister, Ethel Gibbons of Harrisburg; niece, Neva and Wayne Rushing of Shawneetown; daughter, Grace McGuire; a great niece, Samantha and Brandon Gross of Shawneetown; two grandchildren, Cathy Barnes and Bobby Riley. She was preceded in death by parents; two sisters, Bonnie L. Hardin and Maggie Hall; a brother, Virgil Padgett. Visitation for Ruth will be Sunday, August 10th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Services will be at the funeral home on Monday, August 11th at 11 a.m. with Rev.
