Margie E. Wiles

Margie E. Wiles, 83, of Shawneetown, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, 5:55 a.m., at the Phoenix Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Carmi. She was born in Hopkins County, Ky. on May 18, 1927 the daughter of Marion and Mabel (McEuen) Dame. Margie married Blain Wiles on March 18, 1944 and he preceded her in death on September 17, 2006. She is survived by four daughters, Sandy and Verlin Perry of Marissa, Paula and Lonnie West of Las Vegas, Nev., Patty and Bill Winters of Shawneetown, Jenny and Hershel Rigsby Jr. of Shawneetown; two sons, Jerry and Harriet Wiles of McDonald, Tenn., Terry and Brenda Wiles of Eureka; eleven grandchildren, Nicole Jasper, Josh Perry, John Blain Wiles, Maggie Caldwell, Tara Vickery-Gorden, Kimi Schroeder, Adam Vickery, Jay Winters, Laura Steele, Aaron Wiles, and Kyle Wiles; eighteen great grandchildren. Margie was preceded in death by parents; husband; three brothers Robert, Hayse, and Homer Dame; four sisters, Mary Lou Morrow, Alberta Parker, Gladys Dame, and Catherine Hill. Visitation for Margie will held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July30, 2010 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Kimi Schroeder officiating. Burial will be at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville, Ky.
