Marilyn Kay (Barger) Reed

Marilyn Kay Reed, 67, of Harrisburg, Ill., passed away at her home on Monday, October 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.  Marilyn was born on October 5, 1951 in Clarkston, Michigan, the daughter of the late Troas and Hazel (Parker) Barger.  She is survived by her two children, Lori Cannell of Harrisburg and Scott Cannell of Eldorado; two loving grandchildren, Sarah and Kory Heberer of Eldorado and Jerith Cannell also of Eldorado; five great grandchildren, Rylee, Kaydence, Kruz, Jeremiah, and Jaycob.  Several brothers and sisters also survive.  Marilyn loved her dogs and horses and being outdoors.  She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.  A private service at the Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Harrisburg will be held at a later date.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown in charge of arrangements.
