Marjorie G. (Smithpott) Whipple

Marjorie G. Whipple, 90, of Gillespie, Ill. formerly of Omaha, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012, 1 p.m. at the Heritage Health of Gillespie in Gillespie, Ill. She was born on July 3, 1922 in Otterville, Ill., the daughter of Henry F. and Theo P. (Gardner) Smithpott. Marjorie married Gerald Wesley Whipple on March 9, 1946 in Omaha, and he preceded her in death on November 26, 1988. She is survived by three sisters, Doris and Gerald Rhodes of Wilsonville, Audrey Baker of Shipman, Eunice Rull of Hamel; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Marjorie will be on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Omaha. Rev.
