Mark Anthony Sisk, 61, of Eureka passed away on November 26, 2020 at his
residence. He was born on August 8, 1959 in Waukegan, IL, the son of
Herbert L. and Mildred R. (Sikich) Sisk Sr. Mark worked as a bricklayer for many years. He was a member of the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers and the Apostolic Christian Church of Morton, IL.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred (Sikich) Sisk of Zion, IL; one sister,
Marsha (Terry) Nolan of Kenosha, WI; and his three adult children, Shane Anton Sisk of Peoria, IL, Zackary Sisk of Kenosha, WI and Kali Defoer of Morton, IL. From the Sisk and Sikich family, there are nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. And he left many friends in Illinois and Texas. Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Peter and Mary Sikich Sr.; his father, Herbert L. Sisk Sr.; and three brothers, Stephen, Steven and Herbert L. Sisk Jr. Mark always had a joke to tell and a way to make you laugh and put a smile on your face. He had the best one-line comebacks. He was kind-hearted and eager to please and wanted to help you if he could. Not a truer friend than Mark. As Charlie Chaplin quoted: "The most lost day in life is the day when we do not laugh." God gifted Mark with his quick wit and sense of humor.
